There's nothing like doing an essay to get you back into writing on Live Journal. I am sleepy. I have got to get it done today though, seen as I'm having a wenches thing tomorrow night (was supposed to be having it on *a* wednesday, not this wednesday, but nevermind...) if worst comes to worst I'll just have to start things off and retire to my room.

Yes, I am still alive :P

I am quite, quite bored. Two days ago I was too busy revising. Nothing can ever be just right :P

Well, except that, other than the boredom, and the fact that I'm a silly, silly person (I accidentally forgot about work today and thus turned up 1hr 1/2 late for a 3 hour shift, but then they said they didn't need me), all is well.

Ahh well. I think the exams went alright. I don't think I've failed any, anyway, which is what counts. Currently looking for a flat for Gill and I next year. Eve Brown have one that seems good and is quite cheap, but it's not on the student list, so I'm going to go in and use my persuasive techniques on them. Someone more persuasive should do it.

I'm also looking for a new job. If anyone knows of any vacancies anywhere that don't require actual skills then tell me :) So far I've applied to Rufflets, Ma Bells, the Oak Rooms, Tesco, Morrisons, Spa, Argos, Gin House, Woolworths, and other places... I can't really remember. Not heard anything back from any of them, but some didn't have any jobs going.

I can't wait until 28th, I'm going to Belfast for a week to stay with David's family. (Also scary, but I've already met his parents, who are nice... it's just his friends from home, his grandparents... scary :P) We also may be going to spend a night in Dublin, not sure though yet.

Anyway. Beer time.

Despite the fact that I have been stupidly inorganised at the moment in regards to uni work (although I've realised I'm no worse than usual, it just feels like it), I am incredibly happy at the moment :)

Today I did productive things, no, not for my essays - don't be stupid. However, I did pick up two application forms for jobs (Although I don't really have a chance in the Eating Place, having no relevant experience whatsoever). I also tidied my room completely and resorted everything out - it sorely needed it. I would say that tomorrow I will do another couple of loads of washing, but I don't think I'm going to be in at all save for an hour an a half in the morning. Should also put sheets on the bed. Oh, oh, and I finished the Rocksoc website and I did a bit on the Shire website, although it didn't need that much. Oh, does anyone have any pictures of the last feast? Send them to caercaledon@gmail.com if you do. Otherwise I'll bite. Also accepted more messages on the Sinner and emailed Oli about the front blurby thing.

I couldn't think of anything else to do, so I then stopped. Now I just wait... *drums fingers* Hehe, not that bad.

The hook for the mirror in my room is ridiculously high, I can't even see my forehead in it.

Oh and they have Dark Island in Drouthys and it's next on in the Whey Pat. Not that I have an obsession or anything... Which reminds me that I am back on the Irn Bru... although most of you didn't know that I was off it... Anyway, not drinking it makes me sleepy (I decided).

I need some new clothes, having discovered that three of five items of clothing I picked out had holes in them. I could sew them up... That'll do :P If I get a job then I'll buy clothes. I really hope I do get a job, though, because that'll mean that I won't have to work in the factory again over christmas and easter and summer... The thought makes me want to cry :P

I listened to my Festival CD today and I do quite like it, although none of the songs are outstanding, none make me want to break the CD into a million pieces neither. Therefore I deem it a good CD for background listening :)

I'm really cold. But this should come as no surprise to any of you. I'm still injured from Tony's nachoes as well, which I must have eaten well over a week ago now! 'Tis getting better though.

I went to Dundee for the first time yesterday, it was quite funky, big, city-like... I'd hate to live there :P Hehe. Almost bought the red PVC catsuit, but I don't have that much faith in my ability to alter things... So still need a costume for Halloween... The internet said I should be a fairy, but that's boring. Feast was good, despite the fact that I felt very ill. Ended up serving again for about half the feast, but I don't mind, because 'tis fun to me! I was glad to see that the story I adapted seemed to go down well, Rachel told it marvellously, and the actors were funky also. Everyone I spoke to seemed to have had a good time. Clean up was also very swift, although annoying SCA man was... annoying. I fear I was quite rude to him during the course of the night (I didn't mean to be!) Also, I still feel guilty for making the bakery girl cry in Tescos... But I am assured that it's their fault. So there we go. I haven't been that irate at someone in yeaaaaars.

Sunday was also vaguely funky, although I felt like the contents of hell had moved location into my chest and throat and head and ears. I tried to get to sleep at a relatively early time, but three hours after getting into bed I was still awake. Then I 'woke up' half an hour after getting to sleep. I think everything's getting better today, though. My throat is less sore, my head and ears don't ache as constantly or as sharply, although lectures were a bit of a blur.

Hehe, had to ask Dr. Jones (Chris, not Tom) why we needed to know the last thing we covered because I'd completely forgotten. Luckily he'd had me for a tutor last year so he knew I wasn't just completely mentally retarded. Oh, I think I forgot to announce that I am no longer an historian (despite taking four modules in histories this year...). Methinks I shall do medieval studies in english. That sounds fun.

Today I WILL tidy my room. And do some translation. Hopefully tomorrow my head will feel more like it's my own and connected to my body tomorrow. And hopefully I shall have my voice back!

-Spotlight(?) I think that's what it's called anyway. It's the creative writing one.

I got promoted in (one of) my Star Trek RPGs today! It was so exciting! Almost the most exciting thing that's happened in my life ever! :D Well... maybe, hehe.

Anyway, yes. I got promoted from Lt. (jg.) to full Lt! And from Science Officer to Chief Science Officer! Heeeeee!

Rocksoc was muy good... Very... sweaty... That part was less good, but atmospheric I suppose, which is good...

I am very bored in a very busy sort of way... May have to go out tonight and put flyers for the Shire down. Newsletter's finishable tonight too, definitely all sorted for fresher's fayre. I'm not touching the site until I have new photos, because I'd rather have a lot to do at once rather than keep editting it in little bits.

RPGs are fun. Applied to join Obsidian Fleet, but it's unlikely, because I'm a new game and my players are a little... bad. Umm... *shruggles* I think that's it.

Don't you wish you could attract all the most gorgeous women around you each day? Its easier then you think. A few dabs of Ultra Allure Pheromones will have women fighting over you.
